I did not carry a sword to fight for freedom
Neither did I lead the world with my wisdom ,
My head is too weak to bear the crown of an empire
Something tells me that’s not what people now a days admire,
I wish I could mark my name in numbers like Lovelace
I wish I could become a person to embrace ,
If only I could be as courageous as Irena Sendler
If only I could exude the beauty of Monroe
I could speed my way up like Dorothy levitt and assert my views like Angelou ,
Neither words of Austen nor the grace of Hepburn , neither compassion of Teresa nor the courage of Rosa ,
Held together with a sigh I ask my mother ,
Who am I ?
