Our Story

Officially begun in 2018, The Redstockings Chronicle was revamped in early 2021 to make it more than an e-magazine - instead, make it an experience that transcends one into a dimension of books & literature. We are a bunch of students who have eternally loved literature, culture, history and philosophy. Art has forever been known of being either either too easy, too tough, too boring - a reputation that has long been borne through the centuries. We believe that it is beyond what it is given credit for. Literature is stories weaved through history, poetry bound in nature to being boundless with free verse, it is time encapsulated in paper and ideas of all kinds typed on, literature is revolution .

It fascinates us and we believe, it shall fascinate many for it is more than hefty books kept in a corner. It is of language that goes beyond class, religion, ideologies, it is of history that has had revolutionary changes. The Redstockings Chronicle, a publication of The Redstockings Literary Society, attempts to achieve these beautiful, revolutionary, free realms of language, literature and culture in a way that is student-friendly, interesting and definitely fun.

The team works to curate, edit, write content that fascinates and makes one want to keep reading. With a new theme every third month, we believe in diversity, inclusivity & some good reads!
