Back in November of 2020, The Redstockings Literary Society introduced their literary fest, "Breathe", owing to the fatigue-filled life we had all dropped to, switching to from the outside life to the walls of our homes. The literary fest meant to bring fresh beginnings with a breath of fresh air.
It is March 2021, we have all still been (more or less) confined within the four walls of our home, awaiting a touch with the outside world. We introduce the first 2021 edition of Redstockings Chronicle of the same theme and vision but conveying, expressing and creating a lot more, indulging in reality, fiction, the cinematic universe and foremost - the literary.
This Special Edition aims to inform the readers of the competitions and winners of the literary fest organised by The Redstockings Literary Society during November 2020, the fest that carved a way for this Edition’s theme, Breathe. There is a piece of writing featuring in the centre the winning painting from our art competition, “Canvas Creations”, The Covid Hustle by Deepanjali Yadav and another featuring the winning photograph from the Photography competition, “Framed in Frame”, titled, "Black and White Days" written by Divyanshi Dash.
We shall also be featuring winning poems and prose from the competition “Prose it!” themed , “Perhaps, the world ends here”, as well as from the submission received for this edition of the Chronicle. All held under the fest, “Breathe”.
What else? Take a deep breath and simply dive into this month’s literary galaxy.
