Things That Gave Me Hope Today

The new dawn

brings a new yearning

in me, this miracle

is so arcane

a sign of ayn;

the thunder shakes me

but I’ll be fine

I got a rainbow to see

and a cup of warm tea.

I wanted to be the best

so I was always restless,

but I took a breath today

and hoped this moment won’t pass away.

But it’s alright

I like it when things end,

so that I can see the new beginnings

the misery and luck will come my way

and from them, I won’t run away today

I’ll embrace the night to

bring me the morning dew

the withered flowers today I know

in spring will again bloom, a new life;

though love and loss is on their way

But I believe forever won’t be gray
